42 Rue de Montreuil
A small but great record store. Lots of black music. Only vinyl.
It was formerly A1 which closed in New York Serves maté: A+ Privileges American discs imported from US and in consequence, North American genres (the soca selection was interesting)
Probably the best record store ever.. especially during fête de la musique.. yes, music day is an obsession :)
Good afternoon i came by to check out the A1 store with my family this Sunday i was surprised by the shop amazing choice, clean and easy to get arround. The whole team was so friendly welcoming and helpful 10/10. I am an Old-school R'n'b & Hip hop fan and the choice is crazy!!! Peace out to the team see you soon. Christopher
La classe! Super selection. One of the best vinyl shops in Paris

3 Rue Brochant, 75017 Paris, France
A lovely and cosy vinyl shop in Paris, the owner is very informed and helpful, he is generous to give advice when he is asked, whether regarding records or turntables, amps.. Etc. , he even helped me to install a new stylus, and he did all the calibration free of charge. I love this place.
One of the best record stores I've found in Paris. Varied selection, clean vinyl, fair prices and above all a friendly owner!
Great collection and very friendly-will shop again
Advertised they were open on Sunday. They are not. When I commented I had a gracious reply so edited my comment.
Very nice ! Good selection, not too pricy and very polite helpful service

72 bis Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud
Minimalistic and aesthetic record store located in not very crowded street. They have nice collections of the vintage music from all genres. You can listen to the records with their vinyle players which has pretty high quality.
My favourite record store in Paris, if not the world. Have found some amazing stuff here each time I visit. Great house, deep house, jazz, hip hop, soul and disco. Listening stations are decent. Pricing is really fair.
First time at this beautiful record store. It's ever so slightly off my usual beaten track, but was worth the visit. It's one of the larger stores in and around the 11th arrondissement. There's a great wall with a great mix of genres. But in general this is a store for soul, funk, experimental, rare groove and jazz. There were some new LPs, but the focus is mostly on used records. It feels like I went on an off day, but I suspect they have great used drops here for the weekend. It's not as well stocked as some other nearby stores but you can find things here that I haven't seen elsewhere in the city. So rare record collectors should make an effort to visit.
Over 10 years ago, I visited L’International Records by coincidence. Since then, every time I’m in Paris, my first stop for records has always been whatever the latest incarnation from the same amazing folks is. These days, it’s BABALUMA! The collection is deep, diverse, and beautifully curated. You’ll find old gems and new discoveries, all at fair prices. The vibe is always welcoming, and the digging experience is a total joy. I always get great recs from the owners. Highly recommend!
Great vinyl record shop. Used to be called Bix Wax. Lots of awesome second hands.

8 Rue Pierre Picard
A great Record Store in Paris! The vibe is what a real record store should be, they got shirts for sale and even books! A wide variety of albums and artists from around the globe, most of them are new pressed, bought my Nina Simone and James brown back there and hopefully I'll get more albums and jazz records next time!
This is a must visit if you are into vinyls. Obviously a huge part of their offer is french artist within different genres. But their international rap/hiphop section is superb curated too. You will find everything from Kendrick, Nas, Dr Dre, Eminem to MF Doom, Madlib and Benny the Butcher.
A person who I met at a concert recommended this record store to me while I was in Paris. It's a real gem! They have a large selection of both used and new vinyl (and tapes and CD's). The store is really packed with music and it's so nice to go through all the records to find your favorite music! I will come back next time I'm in Paris because there is still more music to discover! Staff is very friendy
Amazing shop with lots of vinyles. I also found some vintage Christmas newspaper. Friendly staff and adorable cats. ❤️
The store had a large selection of vinyl records. The staff were very friendly and recommended records that matched my taste in music. I highly recommend this store!

6 Rue des Grands Champs
This is a MUST for movie physical media collectors ! There is SOOOO many movies in different forms ( dvd, blu ray, 4Ks, SteelBooks, especial edition, collector editions) from all around the world. I was so happy to come across this shop cause I love collection physical media so the fact that I could see many movies in English made me so happy. Their collection is INSANE! I hope the best for this business. Everyone needs to come here.
In addition to FNAC stores, this particular store has become my preferred destination for browsing and/or buying films on Blu-Ray, DVD, and 4K in Paris. Its sizable sections dedicated to French Cinema, World Cinema, Independent, and Mainstream films offer a diverse and comprehensive selection.
Great variety of CDs from every genre of Music, even some less known bands! Prices are great, with a lot of promotions.
absolutely amazing!!! went there with a friend on my first trip to paris, she's into stationary (downstairs) and I'm into music (upstairs) and both of us found an amazing selection. the staff were great too-- I asked them for french vinyl recommendations in my very broken french and they were super understanding and helpful. I just got home and listened to the album they gave me-- symphonies des eclairs-- and it was exactly what I wanted, a good mix of different genres and very artistic and cool. if anyone from the store sees this, tell the guy at the desk the little american girl he helped last week is forever greatful!!
Exceptional store all around. In particular, focusing on its music section (mostly interested in vinyl and in general, in independent rock sort of music) one can find all kinds of recently released gems. Surely updated with most of the latest editions. As to prices you may find at points stuff in higher prices but there will always be a much fair compensation by finding items in a low price as well plus great offers here and there. Highly recommended place.
General bookstore offering new & used books, mangas, comics & vinyls, depending on the store.

32 Rue Saint-Sébastien
Tourist review: Awesome store, they have collections of jazz and rock to cooler stuff like edm, afro, drum samples, house, techno, etc. They also let you use the turntables there to listen to what you chose. P.S. You can barter your way down lol 👀
Betino was helpful and knowledgeable about French no wave music. He played several records for me and his intuition about my taste was spot on. He even recommended a couple of other stores that turned out to be good. My favorite record store out of the dozen I went to in Paris!
Literally chose this place just because it was near my hotel in Paris and it did not disappoint for a moment. Plenty of second hand records and the owners are ridiculously knowledgable. They have a pair of turntables where you can test out records. I got to put together a dozen records to test out looking for rare sounds and random samples that I just wanted to dig. I was there for at least 30-40 minutes while they played some classic 80s funk at a good volume to not overload the senses while I dug. Records were well-priced and really happy with my selection. Hope to come back and spend a few hours in there one day digging.
Awesome store! I collect records, but know nothing about French music. I shared this with the shop man and he instantly pulled out some recommendations, even playing samples for me. I LOVE all of my new albums and can’t wait to get them home to listen. A highlight of my trip to Paris, for sure. 10/10 experience. Highly recommend.
Came as he was closing up but when we had asked for some help looking for French house recommendations, he was happy to keep the shop open for a bit to let us listen to the 8-10 records he recommended. Such a highlight of our trip to Paris. Would go again to check out the rest of his collection including the whole other side of the room and the back room which looked to have a decent selection of hip hop and jazz

6 Rue du Ponceau, 75002 Paris, France
Went here during a trip to Paris two weeks ago with my partner and we had such an incredible time. Samuel (if I remember correctly) was delighted to share in his wide knowledge of French and other music. With rain starting to fall outside, we got deep in conversation and spun record after record, exchanging anecdotes and enthusiasm. I had an interest in French film soundtracks and so ended up learning a lot about these and even picking one up. Was one of the highlights of a week long trip to Paris as music lovers and completely made our day. Will be back! Love from Ireland.
Very good choose and man very helpful with everything. He try to understand the taste of my boyfriend and help me choose the vinyl he will like . Thank you so much 🫶🏻
This is an amazing record place, very friendly owner who upon entering the shop swiftly comes over to say hi and explain how the sections are sorted. Really great collection of jazz records, they're a bit pricier than other shops, but were originals in a superb condition so definitely worth its price. This made it to my list of personal best record stores.
Super quaint vinyl store focused on Jazz, with a good selection of pop, rock, and French artists as well. Owner is super friendly and welcoming; just a nice experience with great options and expert service
Walked in knowing nothing about records or what I wanted — Samuel was super helpful and friendly in suggesting records and playing them in store so I could listen to 10/10 recommend, will be coming back!

11 Rue Saint-Sabin, Paris, 75011
Born Bad is a powerhouse; they produce their own records and carry some of the latest and rarest records in the punk realm. I spent about two hours at this record store and went back to make sure I didn't miss anything. Fair prices, expect to leave with more records than you anticipated buying. A must for any punk collector, as well as for those looking for the latest (French) punk records released.
Born Bad is a super dope, little hole-in-the-wall type record shop. They often get new records of upcoming artists both local to France and everywhere abroad, plus they have an eclectic collection of punk/rnr classics and even some hard-to-find gems! The two times I went it was the same dude working, pretty sure he's listened to everything in that shop. Super knowledgeable. Politely ask him for recs based on your genre of choice and he'll point you in the right direction. They often have flyers of upcoming shows at the register, free stickers, and sick T-shirt designs. One thing to note - CASH is preferred! Like really REALLY preferred, so do them a favor and bring plenty of euros with you if you're planning on going in on a few records. *Video is of my recent finds and one of their tote designs.
Could of spent hours in here, loved it Scott From the uk
Best record shop in Paris hands down. Coming from Los Angeles, California.
my favorite record store in paris! I come anytime I'm visiting from new york, always has an amazing curation of 45s and interesting books. owner gives great selections and is an icon himself, love frustration

Pl. Joachim du Bellay, 75001 Paris, France
A great place to buy secondhand books — very affordable, with books in great condition. Perfect for treasure hunting!
I found so many books here. My stack had books priced from 1euro-6euros and they were coffee table type —heavy and picture laden. The bins were organized and books are separated by category which made for efficient searching.
Beautiful place, has all sorts of used media for good prices.
Very cool place with cheap vinyls.
Nice place big variety of vinyls, books and kids’ books. Even the good quality shopping bag is for free😍😊

14 Bd Jourdan, 75014 Paris, France
Very nice atmosphere. Good prices for books and there was a section out front for international languages for books written in other languages like English.
One of the best Bouloniers in Paris. They offer a good selection of books compared to the other ones! I usually stop by here whenever go to bakery. 📚
Perfect place for old books
Not open at the stated time. Avoid
Always love to peruse the latest arrivals and gifts for yourself are a bargain. Gifts for others come with the hashtag of #recycled. What could be better!?

45 Rue de Cîteaux
ATTENTION!!! This is not a listening bar, as many others have said in the reviews. There are only 12-15 open albums that you can listen to, but those are old records. In order to listen to “your favorite” records in this store, you must open the package, which basically means you must buy the record. You cannot step inside, buy a drink and listen to any record. So in that sense, the previous reviews were misleading. That aside, this place is actually really cool. I had a few beers there today, and the owner was very nice. They have a good selection of records, available for purchase as I said… and the prices of drinks are affordable. Although it’s not a listening bar, it is still a nice place to hang out for a couple of hours.
Our favourite place to have a drink and snack in the neighbourhood where you can also browse their vinyl collection. Not yet discovered by the hipster community, but it won't be long! Really friendly owners (brothers) who love to chat with their clients. V cheap and food good quality. On a side road off the busy Faubourg.
Fantastic experience. The food is very tasty bust still affordable. The concept of the restaurant is very nice: eating while a vinyl of your choosing is playing.
I would prob buy more records if the listening stations where better. I can always hear background music over the headphones. Otherwise great selection and nice to drink a glass while listening
I really like this place and would say 4.5 if only the listening station was better it’d be 5stars. Great selection cool vibe and it’s nice to have a beer while digging through records

5 Pl. Pinel, 75013 Paris, France
The Shop has closed long time ago !
I put 5 stars just because people don't understand the fact that the store is on appointment. People are stupid.
i didnt Walk in early inThe morning.as seems a resdancial place. Will try next time.
Lovely place full of good music with very helpful staff 😍
Closed at least 3 years ago! Well done!

2 Rue du Sommerard, 75005 Paris, France
I went to this place today, great selection of cassettes and gear to listen to your favorite musicians on tape. Though the prices vary on what you’re looking for the guy who was working today was very nice and answered all my questions and was patient. I asked for a discount and he gave me %10 off. I really appreciated that. If you’re in Paris and interested in buying some K7 I recommend going here! 😊
Came here while visiting Paris was great to see so many tapes actual great titles aswell I bought an oasis one will visit again if I get the chance
no site or discogs?
Top 😍😍😍😍🤘🏽💣
Excellent!! The store is super well-organized. A very wide selection. Top-notch service. Definitely worth the trip (I'm from the 91). While in some stores cassettes are in a small cardboard box on the floor, here everything is perfectly arranged. Excellent!!

This was one of the best cortados I’ve had in Paris. The coffee had a beautifully rich nutty aroma, and the balance between the espresso and the milk was spot on — smooth, well-integrated, and very satisfying. I also really enjoyed the music selection in the shop; it added a lot to the atmosphere. I noticed they also sell vinyl records, which is a lovely touch. Unfortunately, I was tied up with work during my visit and didn’t get the chance to ask whether they sell their coffee beans — something I’ll definitely check next time. Lastly, a big plus for the staff: I didn’t know in advance that laptops aren’t allowed between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm, and they kindly came over to explain it in a very polite and considerate way. It felt respectful rather than intrusive, which I really appreciated.❤️
A wonderful place for those who appreciate good music, atmosphere and high-quality coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and with well chosen music that complements every visit. The cafe staff are friendly and beautiful! Each drink from the menu is done with great quality, you can find gluten free option for the cake, the diverse menu for lunch and really nice breakfast. Recommend to take a breakfast bun, it’s so so good. Definitely one of those places you want to return to!!! ❤️
Amazing coffee and a warm atmosphere: great place for a rainy day coffee
We had the batch brew, a flat white and a Basque cheesecake, very high quality coffee and creamy and rich Basque cheesecake, the staff are super nice, cozy vibes. Recommend a lot a stop for a coffee here :)
The coffee here was amazing. We were served by a male barista who was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is so cozy and chill too, would absolutely recommend! (They also have very cute tote bags and stickers with the cafe logo)

40 Rue des Écoles, Paris, 75005
It was a perfect experience. They have a large selection of very good quality vintage vinyl at very fair prices. The staff is a nice and showed records that weren't on the shelves yet. Not everyone speaks English, but they go above and beyond to help you. Highly recommended!
Crocodisc is my favorite vinyl record store in Paris. I've visited it for the first time in 2023 and again last month. They have a wonderful selection of French disco ( I can't get enough of it!), soul, funk and reggae. The staff is fun and kind and try to make an effort to communicate in other language than French, be patient! Will come back every time I visit Paris :)
Wow! This is a supermegacoool vynil shop. I have visited vynil shops in 4 continents and this hits the top 5! The owners are incredibly helpful and they know all the stuff they have (believe me, a lot!!!). I found some rarities of manouche jazz technically not available elsewhere and I could have spent 5 more hours there if I had time. Great great place, in a great location (latin neighborhood) that reminds me my phd years at Jussieu. Certainly a plus 😀
It isn't very often that I leave a review, but this place has earned it. From hip-hop to rock they have it here, the staff here is very knowledgeable about their music and catalogue. I like a bit of hip-hop and we were amazingly helped by a man who knew everything about it. He also suggested a few albums and let us listen to some songs from the vinyls we were interested in. Overall it was an amazing experience and I would recommend for every vinyl lover to visit here in the crocodisc.
Update July 2025 Third year in a row maybe to the day again. Met Christopher, Xavier and the inimitable Philippe. Bought loads. Hopefully will be back. Back after exactly one year- to the day. Pleasure dealing with Philippe again. Last year I was just getting into vinyl so spent a lot of time picking up stuff. This visit was quick but rewarding. Bought a lot and some difficult to find- Big Brother & The Holding Company etc. Thank you again. Not sure what to write. This place blew me away. They have 2 shops next to each other. They have so many LPs I am not sure how the folks there keep track. It’s all in their heads. Not only if they have it but also where they are kept. Spent almost 2 hours. Bought a lot of vinyls- shipping them to Dubai. Not cheap - either the vinyls or the shipping- but worth it. Got a lot of Jeff Beck, Dire Straits, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Smith and more. You have to visit if you are in Paris.
12 Bd Saint-Martin, 75010 Paris, France
Doesn't seem to exist at this address anymore. It's a shop called 75 shop now
Sss

140 Rue des Rosiers Stand Nº 219, 93400 Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France
A wide selection, and all of high quality. Competitive prices, and above all, you're assisted by truly passionate people who are always happy to help you with your search. I'll be back!
Excellent selection and very good advice!
Very good advice from Aksel! I highly recommend the place, I found so many gems :))
Large selection

9 Rue André Messager
Awesome, unique local shop! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Definitely check it out when in town
In the top 3 best records shop in Paris. Lots of great second hands as well as carefully selected new records. So cool they even have a balearic music section !
One of Paris' great record stores with bins full of curated wonders and an owner who is encyclopedic in his knowledge. Joy.
there are signature record shops in most cities for example in Toronto you go to Gary’s Invisible City, in Berlin - Castro and Nemo’s Sound Metaphors, in Milan - to Nicola’s Serendeepity, etc. etc. and in Paris you go here, to Dizonord Amazing selection + they also sell books, flyers, stickers and so much more - if you want to buy souvenirs from Paris, go here, support local places like this one
This place is a treasure! Amazing collection and the staff are kind, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. This is my favorite place I've been in all of Paris. They have every kind of music you can imagine ! Well done to everyone there, this vinyl shop is pure magic.

21 Rue Lebon, 75017 Paris, France
If you are a vinyl lover, and in Paris, add Etoile Disques to your must visit list. A perfectly curated paradise of music. Every record is at least VG+. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about his collection (inventory). Lots of rare box sets. He is super polite and friendly. Snapped up a Jean Michael Jarre for 10 Euros.
Great store with an amazing selection of records. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable about music and records. I highly recommend it.
The owner is very patient and polite. Ended up finding a very rare French OG press of Miles Davis Kind of Blue! Very very pleasant experience, thank you.
Best record store you can find in Paris. Always full of rare and mint vynile at a good and fair price. The owner is super passionate and expert, ready to give you very useful and appreciated advices. It is a pleasure to return there and discuss with him for a true music passionate.
The owner is such a nice guy, its small but has so many rare finds ... totally recommend it

25 Rue Saint-Antoine, 75004 Paris, France
Amazing place! Clément is super chill and has impeccable taste in music. He also linked me up with someone to fix my record player which was very helpful! The selection of records he has is very nicely curated so you’ll definetly find something you like. I highly recommend dropping by to dig a bit and hang with Clément, super good vibes :)
What a fun experience. Clement was so gracious with his time. When I showed up, he'd just gotten back with tons of freshly procured vinyls. I sat on the floor sifting through tons of new finds while he did some light DJing on the side. Walked away with 4 vinyls (I'd planned on *maybe* getting 1) that couldn't be more different from each other (Sneaker Pimps, N*E*R*D, Donna Summer, and Wings). Definitely worth the visit.
An incredible experience. Clement’s knowledge is only eclipsed by his kindness. Great inventory and reasonably priced. When his collection was not able to give me everything I was looking for he directed me to another seller and helped me look through their stock. Also gave me a fantastic dinner recommendation.
Where can i start with feel good vinyl. Clements was an absolute gentleman. I had no idea it was appointment only to begin with and he facilitated a time to work with me. He has an amazing selection of records and helped me dig up some deep house and tech house gems that have been in my want list for ages and then to top it off when i went to pay the pricing was super reasonable Defiantly recommend
Clement has a great collection. Better than going to a mainstream record shop. You can just hang out at his house and talk to him about film and music!

114 Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière, 75010 Paris, France
I was impressed, next level turntable and sound shop
Definitely worth the visit! Beautiful shop, quality selection, and friendly and helpful shop owner. They also have high quality audio tech. All of the prices are fair as well.
Awesome record shop with a great selection and friendly service! I love shops where the quality of the selection comes over the quantity. Instead of digging through a hundred boxes of absolute random records, there's a hand picked, yet a broad selection of good stuff.
Such a cool record store. Very nice inside . @pawsvinyl
That place is as nice as it gets! Loads of awesome records and turntables. 160 Euros later I'm quiet happy I do not live in Paris. 😀

72 Rue Crozatier, Paris, 75012
Small but well packed store with a very nice selection of a wide variety of LP's. Fair prices, they also have a small but surprisingly good CD's. Everything is mostly new. Only a very small selection of used LP's for those who are looking for that but again - the prices of the new ones are fair and worth your time.
very kind
TOP !
top !
A wonderful discovery, with a very wide selection. I definitely found what I was looking for and I'll be back very often. I don't usually leave reviews, but the welcome and the manager were incredibly kind. He takes the time for you, and you really feel comfortable there. I highly recommend it!! It's become my go-to spot in Paris!

76 Rue Léon Frot, 75011
One of my new favorite record stores in Paris! They always have a nice selection of jazz for a good price and the people are nice and easy going. They also buy or trade records which is always a nice option.
Visited this store while browsing around Paris. They have a great selection of music. Very friendly and knowledgeable interaction with staff. If in the neighborhood do not hesitate to visit.
Really great place to get 1st press vinyls. Pricing is decent / honest compared to other shops in Paris. They always do their research and add a sticker on each vinyls with details such as the year of pressing, location and sometimes a little personal note which really makes a difference. The staff is super friendly too. Highly recommend !!
Real dope little record shop!!! If you’re in the neighborhood, pop up in… Cool records, nice set up, lovely conversation
Beautiful minimalist shop, quite spacious. Interesting selection of 90s pop-rock original pressing and french hip hop. Will hope to find more and more collectors in the future.

26 Rue Godefroy Cavaignac
Amazing shop for vintage vinyl. If you're looking for albums that you don't see ANYWHERE else (obscure soul funk jazz dance world rock etc), be sure to add Heart Beat to your 'must-visit' list. The owner really knows his inventory and can help you navigate the rarities with ease. I left with a nice stack of Jazz Funk from around the World. A very happy customer here!
Great vinyl selections, classics vault and rare gems, great variety of all styles. Good chats and awesome service.
Excellent variety of vinyls of all music genres, particularly those interested in rare pop/rock, R&B, jazz, and funk. Wonderful service. Compared to the vinyls I’ve bought in the United States, these were quite inexpensive! I paid around 15€ per vinyl. Would highly recommend!
My wife and I buy records all over the world, and this is hands down one of the best record stores we’ve visited! Stock curation is fantastic and we thought the pricing was ok! Records were really nicely organised so it was easy to find what you wanted. Came out with one of the best stacks of vinyl we’ve found out in the wild. Heartbeat, you just keep doing what you’re doing, haters gonna hate, but lovers will definitely keep on loving.
Wow! One of the best record stores I have ever visited, the curation was exemplary, lovely owner too, visited from London, could have spent my kids inheritance here..

63 Rue Blanche, 75009 Paris, France
The best experience for lover of music! You can find here everything and more Very helpful owner which can show you all treasures of this place. Recommend to visit!
Unique place on the map of Paris 👍 Big selection. The owner super friendly, he waited for 10 minutes after closure because I was doing a gift for my daughter. Highly recommend.
Visiting from Chicago and really wanted to buy some French records. The gentleman at the store helped curate which records with only a little direction from me (French + Jazz). Fun shop, great place to get a memento to bring home !
Best Store! Huge collection! Owner is the best! Will absolutely be back! Thank for everything! He even kept the store open for me after they closed at 7pm to finish looking! Highly recommend if youre in Paris and you want to find rare collectible records!
Renan was fantastic! He helped me find some very rare Michael Jackson vinyls and his knowledge is amazing! Highly recommend

98 Rue du Poteau, Paris, 75018
Is this place open? We went during the hours Google posted, but was is closed. The gate was down and everything.
Might be cool, but it was closed during the posted hours.
A good place for jazz lovers
I am here now, it is closed 😑
A great place. But call Alain before you go, it's by appointment only!

30 Rue de l'Ourcq, Paris, 75019
Dropped in here whilst going to Max Romeo in Paris. Great little record shop. Picked up some reasonably rare reggae 7 and 12 inches. The guy was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth going to if interested in reggae vinyl
I had some time to kill so I thought I would stop in. Great selection of Reggae. Also some soul-funk-R&B; also Afro beat and jazz. I ended up spending over my budget and was going to ask for a bonus but the owner beat me to it! 😁
Wicked selection of Reggae/Ska/Rock Steady original and reissued, plus lots of choice also in Soul and some R&B. Definitly recommanded !
Very friendly staff! Good 7" colection. I'll come back in my next time in Paris for sure!
Nice reggae records shop in Paris. Good choice and friendly staff ! 😀

12 Rue Marguerite Moret, 75011 Paris, France
Owner was very nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. Id say the only downfall to this store is a lot of the inventory seems to be electro based. I like that genre but thought it took over the store more then other genres.
Nice record store. Rock, jazz, disco, funk, house, techno etc. a lot of french stuff. The owner is very friendly!
This store mostly sells new items, has a bit of used vinyl. Has an OK selection but nothing you couldn't find somewhere else or online.
Very helpful service. Wide selection of vinyl records.
Nice staff and loads of cool records. Go there if you can.

47 Rue de la Montagne Ste Geneviève, 75005 Paris, France
After searching out all of the record stores in Paris that were open during holiday, I came back to this one again. Fantastic ambience and friendly staff with a heavy focus on Classical and Jazz records. Reasonable pricing compared to other shops I visited in Paris. I found a fantastic French press Django Reinhardt and a numbered Wes Montgomery box set. A charming little shop that I couldn’t recommend more.
La Dame Blanche is a hidden gem for vinyl lovers! The shop boasts an impressive and diverse collection of records, making it a paradise for collectors. Its location is perfect—just beside the Panthéon, right in the heart of Paris. The owner is incredibly helpful and went out of his way to help me track down a rare Fou So’ng record. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for quality music and excellent service.
It’s super nice store. The owner is so kind!! If you’re looking for the some vintage vinyl and tape ! This is the place !!
We adore this wonderful store! It is a jewel box whose walls are filled with CD, Vinyl LPs & 45s and even a few cassettes. Amazing staff who work hard to gather together this collection for our love of music. Prices are very reasonable. A must visit when in Paris.
The record collection was very organised, making it easy to find performers of composers. The manager was very helpful and cleared space for me to search through boxes. The titles in the shop are just a small part of a larger collection, but there is a lot there to browse through.

12 Rue André del Sarte, 75018 Paris, France
Take a peek behind "The Iron Curtain", and you will find a treasure trove of the most wanted vinyl. There were plenty of records I picked up, put down, and picked up again, to satisfy my thirst for rarities of the vinyl persuasion. La Rideau de Fer is not one to be slept on. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to find all the treasures you seek. If you're nice enough, the owner will bring out his rarest records of the genre you seek. Happy Hunting
So much selection to browse. Picked up this ska gem on Saturday, and now back in the UK enjoying it. Plays beautifully.
Beautiful record store with a huge selection of vinyls. I was able to find a lot of obscure 80s records for really good prices. The owner was also very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for. I can't wait to go back to Paris and visit the store again :)
Very nice record shop with a nicely curated selection. Shop owner is very friendly and helpful. Was a pleasure to spend some time there and walked out with a couple of very special records. Very much recommended!
Best record store in the city. Great selection of records at fair prices, and the service is 10/10.

39 Rue Faidherbe
A unique record shopping experience, one that truly reflects Paris for me. Inventory is comprised mostly of unused new stock of CDs and LP Vinyl Owner is quirky, if you catch him in a good mood he is happy to help, if not could make way for a misunderstanding. This place suffered a big fire this year, and needs more support to stay afloat.
Solid shop for new issues, reissues, and a smaller selection of Used vinyl - in most all genres you can imagine! I stumbled into here on the way to another shop and was pleasantly surprised. It took some digging but I found a couple vintage/used pieces to bring home. If you're into new pressings though, you'll be very happy you made a visit.
I had such a great experience here. Owner played a bunch of records for me, even opening new ones. I hope they can reopen soon, there’s a resurgence of love of vinyl and this is the kind of store that can thrive. At least I hope so!
Easily the best record store in Paris, you can find pretty much anything here, for a good price too! And the owner is the best guy ever! 10/10
I find it curious that a lot of reviewers have said negative things about the owner. I stopped in there today, and I dunno, maybe it's because I'm an American, but he was as nice and as friendly as could be, and we had an enjoyable chat. The variety of the stock was better than average and the prices were very reasonable, but the vinyl stock was maybe 85% new and 15% used, and I am mostly looking for vintage pressings, so I left empty-handed. The records were also packed extremely tightly in the bins, and some shelf wear was visible.

54 Rue Jules Vallès, 93400 Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France
One of my favorites when in town to dig and pick up gems 💎 This place has been in business for 40 yrs the guys there are super nice and helpful for what you are looking for. Thank you for the good vibes and fair pricing. Highly recommend ⚡️🙏⚡️
My favourite record store in Paris. Both times I've visited have found lots of records at fair prices. They have a big range but particularly good for punk, new wave and Aussie records I can't find in Australia.
Very good collection of cassettes, separated by genre, which is a rare sight. Prices vary, but mostly they’re fair, so if you’re looking for tapes, definitely stop by Yeti. You won’t be dissapointed.
Very good record store, opened on Saturday, Sundays and Mondays, a must go for the diggers in the middle of Les Puces de St Ouen. Very large selection of records, plenty of genres, and cheap prices. The two owners know what they are doing.
Best record shop in Paris if you are digging for gems at fair prices. Been to all the shops in Oden and nothing came close.

43 Rue de la Folie-Méricourt
One of the best record stores I have been to. Had an amazing collection of jazz/soul music. Even had a place to play the records with headphones for you to test the quality.
Nice place with a huge selection. Records for every taste, new and used. It's cozy inside, the seller is very polite. I left the store with a good catch, thank you!
Visited almost all the record shops in Paris and this is absolutely the best, no question. Focused on second hand instead of filling crates with new reissues. Pricing is very fair with some great deals in 5€ bins. Great listening station with good cartridge/needle shows attention to details. Assortment is funk/soul/italo/jazz/rock/jpn pressings.
Great selection and lots of rare stuff. Amazing listening stations. A little bit pricey.
They probably have what you're looking for...Well organized shop, lots of Jazz and Reggae. Sympa ambience, and a big rack of used sale priced gems.

56 Rue Traversière, Paris, 75012
For my tastes had a very high ratio of interesting records. I went back twice in one week after being to some other record stores in the centre of Paris and not finding much. Nice guy who runs it, speaks good English, plays nice tunes. Would recommend.
Amazing record store with a great selection of music!
A+!!! If You Dig Vinyl...This Is It!!! Highly Recommended!!!
Great shop! I was looking for a vinyl record as a gift, and the salesperson knew exactly what I was looking for! I highly recommend it! PS: I'm still looking for my Carlos "Rosalie" vinyl record 😅
An excellent record store to visit regularly, where you're sure to find what you like and other hidden gems. Great advice from a guy who's passionate and dedicated to his work! Well-organized, good quality, and pretty good prices.

66 Rue de la Verrerie
This shop is a paradise for collectors and fans of iconic divas, with a particular focus on Madonna. It offers a wide range of products and memorabilia, from rare collectibles to unique items that celebrate the legacy of these legendary artists. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just curious, this store is a treasure trove for anyone who loves pop culture and music history. A must-visit for Madonna enthusiasts!
Love 🫀🫶💯🫶🫀😍. Madonna fans of the world unite! I went in to look around and found a copy of the Italian Madonna song book that came out a few months ago (not available in the U.S.). I hauled that book around with me all over Paris then through Bilbao and Lisboa. Also got a cool brat lighter and a Madonna tote bag. I will stop by every single time I'm in Paris. 🫀🫶
Absolutely wonderful store and the best store in the world to buy anything related to Madonna This is a small little gem tucked away in a street close to Hotel De Ville. The owner was very helpful and quite obviously a Madonna fan to boot ! This place a treasure trove for Madonna fans with memorabilia, unique LP covers, CDs, books and her actual photographs. The place of course has the whole repertoire of popular artists and not just Madonna. I found 3 LPs of Ace of Base, which is usually not available these days. Prices are moderate and in line with new LPs. This place has mostly new LPs though I found a few old ones and a few old 45s also. I would strongly recommend this store for a visit.
Dance & Sing Get Up And Do Your MADONNA Thing! This extremely well curated place goes Deeper & Deeper into their Madonna rarities like no other place I've been to in person. It has everything a collector would want it life! From rare Brazilian releases of 1994s Bedtime Stories to smart press kits for Keep It Together and even more rare Madonna magazines! Being an ICON member since 1995 I must say that this is One of my favorite places on earth and I'm so glad the owners are nice! This was my second time here at this store and it's up to you to now go and enjoy the special items they have gathered from all of the world. You might already own some of these items but it's Alway good to see where one's collection needs improvement because Beauty's Where You Find It!
Many classic and iconic divas line the walls of this store. If you like Madonna, Kylie, Britney, or anyone in that sort of arena, you've got to check this shop out! Lots of cool import and special edition releases of classic albums and singles.

81 Rue du Charolais, Paris, 75012
Great place with selection of newest releases. Have found rare compilation with orient music. Recommend to visit! Owner helps with and questions! Cheers and are you soon 🇫🇷🇬🇪
It's 3:30 PM, still no one there... for a store that opens at 3:00 PM, that's really average! Especially since I'm coming from far away! No one can give me any advice in the stores nearby. Too bad, I'm leaving. Too bad, I was told it was a good place and I had a good budget.
I agree with the comment about respecting opening hours. Opening time indicated 3:00 PM, 3:40 PM, still no one there.
Super disquaire ! Passionné ! On y trouve de tout et surtout à prix correct. Se trouve au ground Control où il y a souvent des évènements avec séances de dédicaces et concerts. Bref je ne peux que vous recommander ce lieux.
Fantastic record store run by a true enthusiast! All this in a unique location: Ground Control. I highly recommend this place!

11 Avenue de la République, Paris, 75011
This place has a fantastic collection, mostly new vinyls. They also had cassettes, books, t-shirts, a café, and more. I highly recommend visiting when you’re in Paris!
Came here with my boyfriend on a trip to Paris. Amazing selection of records, especially ones that you wouldn’t find in your average record store. Very reasonably priced and staff were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations for places to visit in the area. Definitely recommend for anyone coming to Paris who wants to get some cool records on their visit
Amazing store, great selection and super friendly! Hope they’re around for years!
Just a walk in can become a temptation. Very nice new & used vinyls selection, also books are very interesting. Great background music from Mathieu.
This one is in regard to online shopping. I have placed an order (I live in a diffrent country) in september, literally 3 months ago. Apparently I forgot to add my postal code, however they didn’t bother contacting me regarding this issue, they literally just waited for me to realize that it’s been a long time since I received any updates regarding my parcel, so I contacted them and only then they told me about this issue. Moreover, I had to send a second email in order to receive a response regarding the first one I sent in which I asked for any updates. After they replied they said they will deliver the order soon, however I haven’t received any tracking number for my parcel, so I had to email them once again asking for updates and only then they replied giving me the tracking number and that’s how I found out my parcel arrived at the post office. The reason I didn’t get any updates from the post office from my country is because they wrote my adress wrong, and mind you, my adress is a 4 simple letters word. I don’t know about their service at the physical shop, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering from their online store, especially if you live in a diffrent country.

9 Rue des Déchargeurs, 75001 Paris, France
I’m obsessed with this place. I’ve been to Paris twice, I’ve been to this place twice. The owner is perfect, and makes the best recommendations. Will help you find anything. It’s a treasure trove of stories and music. I could spend hours here and I wish I could fly to Paris right now and visit.
A huge selection of used vinyl plus a solid choice of CDs, cassettes and a few 8 track tapes. Prices range from acceptable to silly. There's some vintage HiFi gear as well. Note: a sale is final even if you haven't yet left the shop. No picture taking is allowed inside.
Fun shop to visit, the place is a disorganized personal archive turned into a store, but can satisfy your digging needs. Doesn't feel streamlined and commodified like some record stores around.
Confused, really. Tons of records everywhere, impossible to find anything. But I asked for punk records, and the owner allowed me to see the "special punk 7"inches box". In my collector life, never seen in a shop something like this: first press of Crime, Germs, Bags and Pere Ubu aming other gems.Incredible and amazing. Prices really high, but these are some of the rarest records in the world. Great shop, a unicum in Europe.
Crazy place with too many stuff. Did not felt welcomed. Staff replies made me feel idiot to ask for something they do not have. Well. Ok then bye and I will never come back.

37 Rue de Stalingrad, Le Pré-Saint-Gervais, 93310
I bought a 1979 copy of Pink Floyd "The Wall" and got it all the way back to the USA without damage. I was very happy for this souvenir from my visit to France. Merci Beaucoup.
One way road..can not stop
Excellent record store! I come back every time I'm in Paris, and I never leave empty-handed! The vinyl records I buy are always in excellent condition! I highly recommend it!
A record store that buys and sells used vinyl. The gems are highlighted, and the classification is really well done. There are also turntables and a small flea market.
I highly recommend Mood! Excellent advice, attentive listening, patience—the team is professional and passionate. I had my turntable repaired there, and my contact (Frank) tried repeatedly to find the source of the problem and finally solved it; he didn't give up! His colleague also took the time to advise me on choosing an amplifier—thank you to him. They have a great selection of vinyl records, and the place is lovely.

10 Rue Paul Bert, 75011 Paris, France
Francesco is the man! Very welcoming and excellent selection of wax. Brand new and second hand Funk, Soul and Hip Hop gems at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended if you're in Paris.
This is totally a biased review although we were brought here by our event promoters "Paris Reality Check" when we were on tour in France. The phenomenal hosts and the very gracious Francesco of Music Ave put together an impromptu performance that attracted a large gathering (see pics) on a unseasonably warm 80 degree Tuesday afternoon in late September of 2013. Support record stores worldwide especially Music Avenue in Paris! merci encore Francesco et Paris Reality Check!
Amazing service and a great selection of records at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
An excellent record shop! Francesco knows a lot about Music and how to enjoy it at the best of your budget ! Indeed, the owner provides affordable yet careful care for your vintage audio gear.
Very very pleased with the patience and expertise from the owner. He took hours just for teaching and letting me try out different speakers and amplifiers. Finally got the best one for me. Highly recommend!

4 bis Rue Richard Lenoir
Amazing place with a great variety of bands. Lots of metal, rock, punk and such. Great place if you want to give someone some amazing LPs or CDs as souvenirs, this is the place to be. Thank you for being kind and stay amazing!
Outstanding good! Nice guy, small store but the best selection of vinyl you can find! At least for Stoner Sludge Doom and post metal. AWESOME! Definitely will be back.
Great store, good selection, especially hardcore-punk and post rock stuff :) it is a little bit difficult to find what you’re looking for so plan your time ahead. Prices are very good!!!
Best metal record shop I've been to. The reviewer who said there was more rock and punk than metal must have had their eyes closed. This shop has an insanely deep selection of metal from all genres. Worth the trip to Paris in it's own right.
This is an excellent store, well-stocked for music lovers. They have a good mix of old and new vinyl, with prices that are very fair for Paris. Plus, I was easily able to purchase a gift certificate for my boyfriend's birthday; the owner Nico worked with me to make sure he received it (in person!) on his actual birthday.

6 Rue de la Boule Rouge, Paris, 75009
A new go-to record shop for my visits to Paris. The selection of electronic music was top notch for me and the owner was welcoming and friendly.
Lovely place! A great selection of vinyls and the owner was very friendly, he helped me choose my vinyls. Inside the place you had the chance to stay calm and enjoy the vinyls before purchasing. I will definitely go back!
Great store! And Frank…amazing seller! Thank you very much! I will definitely buy again in my next visit in Paris 😊 Recommended!
Really nice atmosphere, you can play the vinyls for yourself at the store. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Fantastic record store, great selection of house music!

17 Av. Gabriel Péri, 93400 Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France

I am very satisfied with Music Partner's work on the two guitars I brought in for tuning. They sound better than ever thanks to his expertise and attention to detail. His professionalism and sound advice make all the difference. In addition, the rates are very reasonable for the quality of the service provided. I highly recommend his services to all musicians! 🎸😊
Great store, top sellers who carefully select equipment with good value for money.
Excellent music store. I've been having my guitars serviced and tuned there for several years, and each time the work done on my instruments is of very high quality. Furthermore, they have everything musicians need, and the staff are lovely, always offering good advice without pressuring you to buy anything.
Excellent, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. It's great to have this shop in Saint-Ouen; I highly recommend it.

Centre Commercial OSLO, 44 Av. d'Ivry 1er Etage - Local 20, 75013 Paris, France
An amazing kpop store in Paris. The staff was really nice, they didn't have any xlov albums left, but the woman gave me a Hyun postcard as a gift. Also I was pleasantly surprised that they had all zb1 digipacks with all the members.
KPOP shop. Paris The place to be if you are KPOP Fan. Inside the commercial wall OSLO. Chinatown, Paris 13th district.
A lot of different kpop groups albums and a lot of photocards and other accessories. It’s sad that they didn’t have a lot albums in stock
People are so nice and kind, and always enjoy helping, there's so many kpop merch it's like paradise!!!
Omg!! They have a lot of cd's! BTS, Got7 bigbang, seventeen, blackpink... And they have kdramas! And now they have another shop for merchandasing (in the same place, but in on the other aide of the mall) if you are army, you will love it! Hahaha

2 Rue Planchat, 75020 Paris, France
Stumbled across this store on our way to see Jim Morrison's grave. Had a really nice selection of classic rock vinyl (but no Doors at the time). Prices seemed fair. Ask for help if you want something on the walls.
Closed until September the 12th
Horrible seller
What happened in this vinyl haven, usually so conducive to sharing and discovering music in a friendly atmosphere? To paraphrase a famous magician, "Run, you fools!" An aggressive and insulting reception—I've never experienced anything like it in a record store. A truly memorable experience to be avoided at all costs if you don't want to lose faith in humanity.
It may not be a megastore like those in central Paris, but that's the beauty of it. Despite the size of the place, there were some very interesting titles at fair used prices. And then there was the kindness of the manager, always available and ready with a joke. Knowing that I'm Italian, he made himself even more helpful... he also comes from an Italian family. I find reviews from a half-crazy person very strange... I don't know, unless it's someone else, but I don't think so.

24 Rue Pierre Lescot
Some interesting variety of products but not much items here.
every time I go to Paris I visit O‘CD! very big selection and extremely nice staff :) they help you with whatever you‘re looking for and know their movies haha
Nice selection, fairly well priced. Loses 2 marks for appalling customer service. I pay for a 9 euro cd with a 10 euro note, the guy behinds me mumbles that they have no change (this is a small chainstore!). When I offer to pay by card instead he shrugs in the direction of the card machine. Zero effs given!
Amazing staff and really good place for dvd geeks
Loved visiting this on my Paris trip, so many movies, loved how organised and cleaned the shop was, truly a hidden treasure for physical media fans 😍😍😍

12 Rue Saint-Antoine
Great place for physical media enjoyers. Super well organized DVD section. As a collector on vacation I will definitely come back here whenever I visit Paris!
Loved this place so much, such a treasure for physical media lovers, absolutely recommend coming here, I found so movies that I can’t find in the UK so huge pros for that. Hoping this store/ business gets a lot of success cause it truly was amazing
Fine and fun atmosphere, gives off the "treasure hunt" vibe for people that likes to collect physical media. Prices are decent, but remember to check if the media is in French!
There are a lot of CDs, vinyls, movies and videogames. Most of them in french (sadly for non speakers like me) but spending few minutes here is worth it. Some rarities and cool stuff.
Great selection of DVDs at fare prices

26 Rue des Écoles
many cds, dvds and vinyls. i love that you can play the music before buying it, it makes you explore new music and be actually sure you like it before you buy it. it was so much more common before, i'm happy they kept it this way
Large store, many DVDs but also CDs (used too) and some records (mostly new)
Not all that and the prices are higher then FNAC or online (for records). Also they have a very limited pre-owned selection (for records). In addition the staff literally think that they are Jack Black and John Cusack in HIGH FIDELITY 🤣 - Come on guys get a grip and share the love !
It's a really nice store of a bygone age. In the days of streaming these become increasingly rare in my hometown and I was surprised to find it near Notre Dame de Paris. It's well sorted, movies and vinyl easily forgotten of with a friendly and capable crew to support your film and music needs!
It was a cool vibe, friendly staff and some good finds. Pretty pricey though.

Marché Dauphine (Stand 227, 140 Rue des Rosiers, 93400 Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France
Panorama is an excellent spot to buy records. Fairly graded and fairly priced. I even had to ask him if something was wrong with a record because it was cheaper than I was expecting. He in good humor offered to raise the price if it made me more comfortable. The store is a bit out of your normal Paris destination but it’s worth the Uber ride and there are many more record vendors on the floor with him so you’ll be digging for awhile.
One of the best digging spot in Paris. Well curated stock, carefully selected records with prices for all type of vinyl lovers. Rare wax available for more demanding diggers like myself. Shop staff is very friendly, knowledgeable by genre and genuinely interested in satisfying their guests...a spot where you feel at home, and guaranteed to find pieces AMSMF sometimes lots you usually don’t easily get in Europe. Keep it up folks!
One of the best record shop in Paris, period. Great selection, records in good shape and prices are nice. If you came to Paris it's a must !
#231 has a russian owner, playing russian patriotic songs out loud. disgrace
Great selection of records ! Always a pleasure to stop by to digg.

47 Rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris, France
I enjoyed my time there, but I wish the store had English comics.
Nice range of second hand CDs. My daughter ended up with one INXS and one Jimi Hendrix CD. The man behind the counter was very polite.
The type of place you want to find. Local, authentic and full of good and interesting things. Books, records, CDs and a lot in between... We went to find a gift and accomplished the object with a very nice result. Good people.
A nice 2nd hand record store, specializing in rock/pop music. Offer seems to be pretty large and vinyl prices are rather reasonable. They also sell music related books. The only reason not to award them 5 stars is the limitation on jazz. They don’t carry jazz music.
If you are looking for music books, periodicals, zines (mostly in French but with a selection of titles in English too) head straight here to this Paris institution, a stone's throw from Les Halles. You'll be rewarded with an ample choice and very courteous service at the cashier's desk. Browsing through their stock is never interrupted (a definitive plus nowadays, if you choose to buy books in a bookstore, rather than online). Go, visit!

5 Rue de Navarre
Located in the heart of a bustling city, Paris, this hidden gem is a haven for music lovers. From the moment you step through the doors, you're enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere, filled with the sounds of jazz greats from every era. The selection of records is simply astounding, with something to suit every taste and budget. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just starting out, you're sure to find something to add to your collection. The staff are also incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about jazz, and are always happy to help you find that perfect record. With its amazing selection, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere, this record store is a must-visit for any music lover.
The best range of second hand jazz I’ve ever seen. It’s densely packed though, so digging is hard… and the prices are fairly high, so no bargains to be had… but if you want it, Paris Jazz Corner likely has it.
A must for all serious jazz enthusiasts. A great selection of original pressings and for the guitarists out there (such as me), the shop specialises in guitar.
Not many places left like this gem. The vast catalogue of jazz records is unique, perfect condition and great atmosphere
This place is amazing and I highly recommend it if you love jazz. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the wide selection of vinyls and some scattered boxes of CD’s. Since I was visiting out of the country and didn’t want to risk the chance of buying a vinyl just to get it damaged on the flight back, I browsed the CD’s. The gentleman who ran the store noticed that I was exclusively browsing the CD’s and pointed that there were more downstairs. I was expecting just a few shelves but the entire basement was filled with CD’s! Whole shelves dedicated to Chet Baker, Duke, and many more of my favorites. My jaw dropped. I ended up finding some albums I’ve been on the hunt for months. I just wish I had something like this store back home. The gentleman running the store was passionate about jazz and allowed some other customers to try some records before purchasing. There was also a sale and everything was 20% off! Great store. If I ever come back to Paris I will definitely visit this place.

57 Rue de Charonne
The best shop for anyone looking to get their hands on real reggae vinyl, from old classics to the latest releases. The owner is super friendly, always ready to give great advice and share his knowledge. You’ll meet reggae lovers from all over the world who come here for the vibe.
The best place for dub, reggae, ragga, dancehall, ska and all kinds of jamaican music very nice collection of rare and famous vinyls nice prices and very good condition !
I've been looking forward to go to Patate for over two years since I discovered that I had been overlooking it during my visits to Paris. Not to be missed if you're a Reggae Record junkie.... Monsieur Patate really knows his stuff and gave me a record I never thought I'd see in person, it was so rare.
Don't miss this shop for the finest reggae and dub selection in Paris. Owner's recommendation (Carl Campbell's Zion Dub) was spot on, just what we were looking for. Very fair prices for quality vinyl. Many thanks. One love.
The best store in Paris for all things reggae and dub. The stock on the walls is incredible - but tooooo tempting. Glorious.

93 Avenue Ledru-Rollin, Paris, 75011
Great shop where you can find some treasures ask the friendly seller he will find something for you
Fun little store with a very friendly and helpful owner, many original pressings, recommended if you're especially interested in French (and international) releases from around the 70s.
A place of the good old times of the 80ies ! Huge choice of Vinyls, tape and a really nice shopkeeper. A Paris Milestone to find what it takes to unrust your Sony WM!
Not the trendiest Paris record store but the store keeper was very friendly and made some good recommendations. I can recommend this store
Top store for vinyls

148 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis, 75010 Paris, France
Excellent studio, thank you!

5 Rue Jean et Marie Moinon, 75010 Paris, France
I stumbled across this record store by chance in Paris and it was one of the most amazing experiences I had. The owner, Slim, is very passionate about music and a great person to talk to. His record selection is immaculate. He even helped me get a record that was sold out everywhere and shipped it to Madrid. Thank you for everything, Slim!
Slim from Music Please Record Shop in Paris is legitimately one of the kindest and most helpful record store owners I've ever met (throughout all of my travels across USA and the world). His collection is carefully curated, well-organized and you can find everything from The Cure to Wu Tang to Beck to Nirvana to David Bowie to Queens of the Stone Age...or if you want a new favorite French band recommendation, he'll share that too. It was an absolutely wonderful experience being in his shop and feeding off his passion for this business. I highly recommend any vinyl lovers to visit if your travels ever bring you to Paris. I will definitely be back! Merci Beaucoup, Slim!
This place is more like walking into a friend's carefully curated private record collection than a store - such a great experience and an incredible selection at very reasonable prices. We went to a few great record stores during our trip to Paris, but this one was the best and we got some really unique items, had a great chat and a photo at the end! Tres bien, merci!
Really cool place, the owner opened it 20 years ago and he has an amazing collection, including records from all over the world. If you are looking for a specific record let him know and he can find it for you!
What a fantastic record store. Slim was an incredibly welcoming man with plenty of good conversation and a record selection to match. Meticulously organised and a real treasure trove of groove-pressed goodness. A must-visit for any collector passing through Paris. Merci!

13 Rue des Récollets, 75010 Paris, France
Sure this shop has original pressing but prices are not displayed. Usually, when you ask for a price, the seller checks Discogs and gives a quote with a big mark-up. The condition is generally subpar, mostly VG/VG+. Be very careful to check the condition under light. Incredibly tiny shop. Nothing really positive to be honest.
Highly recommended records store when in Paris Friendly/ knowledgeable owner and great selection including seldom seen albums for respectable pricing Cheers from Montréal
Amazing record collection. One of the best record shops I’ve been in. The owner is friendly and helpful, with some great recommendations. Some seriously rare stuff here if you dig deep.
The best shop I ever visited in Paris. Not too big, but cute and clean. What was the most important - I've found all records I planned to buy. A little Etienne Daho museum is also there around you (for those who dig in Etienne's works - a must to visit). Thank you very much, Quentin - it was a pleasure to meet you! Greetings from Moscow!
Shop has one of the bests selections in Paris and the owner is friendly. Whilst the prices are not cheap, they are fair and the owner will cut you deal on multiple buys. Nice treasure trove

42 Rue Duranton, 75015 Paris, France
I was in Paris for work and stopped by to shop for some french punk vinil, the owners were very cool, recommended stuff and let me listen to the open ones. They got a great selection at fair prices. Recommended!
The best place to buy vinyls in Paris. Great material, great quality and the owner have some secret to share. I´ll be back next time in Paris. Thanks for your attention!
Great shop, alot of gold to be found , great collection of vinyl old and new
Nice local corner shop. Fair pricing.
Great store. Friendly owner and a good collection of records.

23 Rue du Roi de Sicile, 75004 Paris, France
Rude guy, he accidentally locked me and my partner inside the store and when he finally came back didnt even say anything. No sorry no hello nothing. The prices are also too high, overall wont recommend.
Absolutely rude with bad manners. The owner doesn’t know how to treat the clients. I put one star because google doesn’t allow to give a zero.
this is the best amazing record shop in paris for metal heads love that shop. the owner was very friendly and i liked it so much i went there 4 times in a week and came home to the states with 25 records from there this is a five star ***** shop thank u rock 'n' roll voltage my friend
This is one of the best record shops I’ve ever been in. The owner has a great eye for music, and he has curated an amazing collection of music. It ranges from various kinds of hard rock and metal to include some harder progressive rock. I love hard rock, progressive rock, and metal. He had albums from most of my favorite artists that I had never even heard of. It was an amazing experience. I highly recommend this store.
Got locked inside of the store.. when the seller came back didn’t even apologise. Plus everything is overpriced. Get your records online.

140 Rue des Rosiers, 93400 Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, France
The store has a wonderful curation. Highly recommend to any vinyl affectionate. The owner has great knowledge to share.
A highly recommended shop for lovers of good music: rock, blues, jazz, pop… There's something for everyone, from beginners to connoisseurs. I found exactly what I was looking for in this store; I received excellent advice and a warm welcome.

22 Rue Taylor, 75010 Paris, France
Absolutely the pinnacle for Jazz lovers. A must-visit spot anytime I’m in Paris. Plus I love how all of the vinyl is organized by Label, the only way Jazz should be organized!
For all jazz vinyl lovers : this place is a heaven ! A part of Sam’s recordings (which are excellent re-issues, great sounding, with high quality packing and great photo reproductions) there is a quite good selection of other reissue labels, all top notch quality. I have been there yesterday (Saturday), bought bunch of records and told myself : “to hell my wallet, will be back on Monday”. But after checking out the shop is open only on Fridays and Saturdays. Will be there for sure next time I come to Paris. Thx to great owner !
I have only shopped online, but it has been a great pleasure, and I managed to find a danish jazz vinyl from the 60s, which I have been looking for for a very long time. Huge recommendation! I will definitely stop by next time I'm in France 😊
A fantastic small business releasing some great audiophile jazz releases. Upmost respect for the gentleman running the business as his eye for detail is second to none the quality of packaging and the overall details of the product is excellent 5-star

I had the pleasure of visiting this shop and I had a great experience. The owner is really kind and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you walk in. He has a nice collection of vintage audio, and it's evident that the owner has a passion and knowledge about his shop. Sons et images d’hier is a must-visit.
Great store! Nice coffee and welcome, good selection of vinyl and electronics. Recommended!
I discovered "Sons et images d'hier" a few days ago, and what a gem it is in the neighborhood! This recently opened shop is a true paradise for vinyl and vintage music equipment enthusiasts. Plus, you can enjoy a coffee there. A must-visit for music and vintage lovers!
A superb new shop in Batignolles. Vintage and modern hi-fi systems, vinyl records, picture frames, cassettes, plants, etc. etc. Thanks Antoine for the warm welcome.
A warm welcome and a wide selection of vinyl records, some of which are quite rare.

20-22 Rue Gerbier
Great selection of electronic vinyls
If you’re into freejazz, krautrock and other more experimental and adventurous genres this store is a must-visit. No secondhand records only new vinyl but the selection of titles is superb. Friendly and well informed service as well. Will come back.
This is the best record shop in Paris for forward-looking music in all genres. Friendly service and lovely environment.
Their webshop only ship to selected EU countries. In the registration form they suggest you to contact them if your country is not listed, yet no one can be bothered to reply to your email.
One of my favorite place in Paris, and the best vinyl store, especially they had amazing experimental music.

47 Rue Marcadet, 75018
Amazing record shop, nice jazz , rock , afro west indies, world etc.. and a surprising Classical vynils selection ..Superb works by the owner and great concert ..
Incredible selection of rare gems! Will be back!
How is this place even real? The proprietor reminds me of some storybook wizard, gently showing you littlest treasures and revealing little gems. The selection ranges all over from classic American pop to jazz to French to island to African. If you have any interest in reviving the lost beauty of vinyl, this store is your promised land.
To all music lovers—look no further! This place is fantastic, offering great records at excellent prices.
Amazing place! Very friendly and knowledgeable shop owner, will come back when i’m in paris

53 Rue Notre-Dame-de-Nazareth
This store nearly brought me to tears. Not because I had a bad experience, but because I had to leave so many records behind. I bought 10, but I could have easily left with 40. Probably more. If you are a free jazz fan, or afro beat, or any beat you will not be disappointed. You may never leave. Although I didn't pick up any, I was happy to see one of my favourite labels, International Anthem, was heavily represented. Artists I bought: Sun Ra, Tony Allen, Albert Ayler, Art Ensemble of Chicago, David Murray, Grachan Moncur III, The Leaders (Lester Bowie, Arthur Blythe, Chico Freeman, Cecil McBee, Kirk Lightsey, Don Moye), Les Quatour de Saxophones (French free jazz that I took a flier on, because when in France...), Gato Barbieri and Dollar Brand, and finally Paul Bley with Steve Swallow & Pete LaRoca. If you are in Paris near the Le Marais neighborhood, do not pass this store by. Stunning.
All Records, All Scratched. Not one escaped it. VG-graded? Hardly. At best, these were “barely passable” copies dressed up with flattering labels and marketing gloss — catchy taglines about tempo or mood masking the fact that the grooves themselves were wounded. Superfly Records thrives on strong sales, but let’s be honest: the only real beneficiary is the owner, not the shop, not the culture it claims to champion. This isn’t preservation or reverence. It’s boutique colonialism dressed in well-meaning aesthetics. Jaded. Cloaked. Impersonal. A truly great record shop carries finesse, integrity, and cultural respect. For a place boasting two decades of existence, Superfly misses all three. As someone who has built from scratch and lived deep music culture from the inside, I came expecting substance. Instead, I found a cold, performative storefront posing as a guardian of soul, funk, and African heritage — while failing to honor any of it in practice. Selling sought-after records isn’t enough. You have to hold space for the culture you’re trading on. What I got instead was glibness, condescension, and a thin elitism — not only toward me, but toward the music itself. It felt like cosplay, not contribution. And that I can’t forgive. I take music, and what it should mean, too personally. Paris already struggles with its reputation for gatekeeping and aesthetic posturing. Superfly leans straight into it with the guise of “oh, we don’t do that kind of thing.” The result? Cultural tourism with a price tag — a collector’s mindset masquerading as reverence. Rare grooves in the bins, but the spirit? Vacant. If you’re searching for resonance, recognition, and respect for the music you love, look elsewhere. P.S. I’ve had my run-ins here, and I stand by every word without hesitation. Understand this: the image they polish and project is a façade. Beneath the curated aesthetics and the surface friendliness is a side you won’t see until you’ve already been pulled in — and by then, the damage is done. It’s not rainbows and sunshine. It’s smoke and mirrors. The truth isn’t nearly as pretty. Super what? More like Superficial — all pretense, no soul. Edit: The owner insists I’ve bought “hundreds of records” here — as if that validates them rather than my patience. If anything, it means I know exactly what I’m talking about. And “thirty years of experience”? Please. The shop was founded in 2002 — that’s 23 years, not 30. Mathematics can be cruel, but it is never defamatory. What is defamatory is pretending longevity excuses negligence: thirty years (or twenty-three, let’s be honest) and still unable to sell a record without scratches. A Parisian tragedy — all posture, no substance. To dismiss criticism as “defamation” isn’t confidence, it’s cowardice in costume. The arrogance, the condescension, the weary hauteur of someone convinced history will forgive present mediocrity. It won’t. The average buyer may not even know what proper grading looks like. But this shop? It’s certainly not the Goldmine Standard — the actual industry standard. Funny how “30 years in the business” comes with no mention of Goldmine at all. That’s not oversight, that’s avoidance. Buyer beware. Overpriced, scratched records dressed up as value. A listening station that’s more gimmick than safeguard (newsflash: headphones don’t erase groove damage). The win is always the seller’s, the loss always the buyer’s. A store that refuses responsibility for its stock has no claim to credibility. And when professionalism fails, the owner drifts into your private life — loudly speculating about personal matters in front of others, as if humiliating loyal customers were part of the show. That’s not culture, that’s contempt. To call “all scratched” defamatory is laughable. What’s truly defamatory is mistaking condescension for credibility. Super what? Superficial. All pretense. No soul. Thanks for your business.
10/10 Best vibes, amazing selection, and sweet prices. The digging experience was one of the most comfortable I’ve had: top-notch equipment for listening to the records and insightful grading and descriptions. I loved it so much, I came back a week later.
wow. amazing selection of world (afro and latin) music, jazz, funk, etc. honestly one of the cooler record shops I've had the pleasure of visiting! must see for adventurous vinyl lovers.
One of the best vinyl stores I’ve seen in Paris. The records are in their categories and easy to go through, not too tight. I especially liked that they had written a short description of the album on a label but I noticed at home that they had took the protective sleeve off and so the label was not there anymore. I wonder why they didn’t give it to me as it belonged to the record I bought, they couldn’t use it anywhere else? So minus one ⭐️ there.

9 bis Rue Biscornet, 75012 Paris, France
Music Club (and formerly a record store) next to Bastille Square. Stage is built in one of the corners and venue has the shape of an "L". We were not able to reach the loo or buy drinks from the bar as it's been that crowded the night we attended that we couldn't make it through the crowd. Deffo not on the list of my Top 10 music venues tbh. Convert was fantastic tho!
Good but small, no seats you have to stand all the concert and no cloakroom. Tiny bar + smoke room.
Great little place for intimate gigs.
Somehow hosting all my favorite small bands... LOVE IT :D
I watched an amazing show by the Brazilian band Oruã

4 Rue des Taillandiers
Need some order but prices were great on the second hands, found some jewels. Listening stations could be a bit more taken care of but staff was helpful
One of the best record stores I have ever been to. A must visit for any lover of electronic music. I had a hard time choosing, the collection is outstanding. The owner was incredibly nice as well.
A fantastic shop - high quality and extensive collection of House and Techno, with such friendly and knowledgeable service from Blaise. I was made to feel so welcome despite my near total lack of French and I spent ages listening through the many enticing choices before making my selections. I will definitely be back again next time I'm in Paris. A record shop to match the best in the UK and Berlin in my view.
Great store. Records are nicely priced and I found a lot of cool stuff. The owner was super friendly and gave me a good discount so thank you so much. I wish there where more stores like these.
Has got to be one of my all-time fav stores… if not no. 1 I visited a year ago, but just got to writing this. The selection is wide, and the owner isn’t only the nicest soul in the world, but will also help you navigate your taste and find you some gems! Sure there are bigger stores out there, but here you feel like at home. Ya could spend hours listening to records here and no one would look at you funny. If I go back to Paris anytime soon, Synchrophone will be the reason. Also the record label they run is incredible! -Shoutout to Stochje — Granada

16 Rue des Taillandiers, Paris, 75011
My fiancee came out so happy to have found again some gems (drum and bass), over ten years ago after months we met he had his first browse there (very successful). Now again he came out all smiling again. We will back soon 😁
Simply one of the best record shop I ever saw. No words can describe the level of excellence
Owner knows everything about his collection in the store, nice talk and rare finds guaranteed
Techno Import is a great vinyl store! Well selected music for various kinds of electronic music (i.e., techno, house, trance). Lots of options to pre-listen your picks. Personnel was also amazing, very kind and supportive!
Friendly owner, vast selection of techno, acid and electronic music. Lots of turn tables to listen and a nice green tea if you ask.

32 Rue des Trois Frères
Wonderful store! The shop keeper was very helpful. Nice and cosy, just a few steps away from the busy and touristy Montmartre!
Great record store. A perfect mix of new and vintage 👍
Nice but not great. Too much new vinyl, with old vinyl relegated to the floor. OK if you like new releases but I would spend more and buy original releases where you can. Lots of other cute things on sale. If time is limited, there's lots of better stores to visit in Paris if it's old vinyl you're in for.
Wonderful store VERY helpful. I was looking for unique french music and whalah they play some awesome selections!!! Highly recommend.
Having visited several record stores throughout the city in search of the elusive, I can say that this was by far our favorite shop. The energy was light and the conversation good. The clerk/owner was fantastic and his humor spot on. Thanks for the Morphosa Harmonia recommendation and we can’t wait to play the Grinderman album when we get home. This place is a little bit of sanity in Montmartre. Viva The Mixtape!

30 Rue Saint-Ambroise
The best hardcore electronic music vinyl shop in Paris since 1998 that I know who remained in downtown. Tons of references aboard Respect to the hard work providing fresh material all over those years... Thank you French Family Affair 💕❤️
Good selection of techno, dnb and electronic. Helpful service with vast knowledge. Look forward to more purchases in the future.
Huge selection of hard to find vinyl records. Shop owner is very friendly and can speak English.
Great shop for new and independent released Acid/dub/hardcore/D&B/freetekno records with a small selection of 2nd hand 90's & 00's house/techno. Super lovely and helpful owner who I could have chatted to all afternoon, definitely worth stopping by if your in Paris or the neighbourhood.
Incredibly kind and helpful owner, who made great recommendations based on my taste

209 Rue Saint-Maur, 75010 Paris, France
Vintage records, CD’s, radios, and clothes!!!! Lovely new spot, very well priced and friendly :)
Super place for finding clothes at a good price!! I recommend it!
Kindest owner and a great collection
I discovered this completely unique shop a few weeks ago. You can find vinyl records, cassettes, turntables, very good quality vintage clothing, and even radios converted to Bluetooth! Renaud gives us a very warm welcome and shares his musical knowledge and passion. I also had the chance to attend the events held there. I highly recommend this original place for the owner's professionalism and friendliness, which is very rare in Paris.
Ideally located just a few hundred meters from the Canal Saint-Martin (the real Paris we love), the VINTAGE MUSIC POWER shop is a veritable treasure trove overflowing with vintage items such as vinyl records, CDs, and clothing... but also sound equipment (old radios converted to Bluetooth, turntables, etc.) that you can buy with complete confidence, as it comes with a warranty. The manager, Renaud, whose professionalism I greatly appreciated, offers excellent advice during purchases and gives you a very warm welcome. But Renaud doesn't just make sales! He's a kind of "one-man band," a jack-of-all-trades who is equally skilled in the events industry. He also offers various entertainment options within this truly unique shop. For example, I participated in a very enjoyable afternoon of "musical tea and music quizzes," in pleasant company with delicious homemade crepes, and I even won a 45 rpm record! There was also a fun evening with an African meal and a dance party, all set to great music. In short, the concept is truly original. I encourage Parigramme Publishing to visit this place and mention it in at least one of their guides!

20 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005 Paris, France

Super service !
Super site
Super!

9 Rue Trousseau, 75011 Paris, France
Super friendly owner and the space is really comfortable. Wasn’t planning to enter the store and I didn’t find what I wanted but nonetheless it was very nice talking to the owner and looking through the diverse vinyls. Everything was neatly organized. The owner even gifted my brother something. Great experience! If I travel to Paris again, this definitely would be one of my to go places.
My top favorite Shop in Paris. The proprietor Pal does an amazing job curating his small boutique with the best and the rarest wax in most genres you'd ever want to collect. If you're into 45rpms this spot could be a gem for you as well. He has a ton and not many people go through them. It can get a little tight while trying to maneuver around the shop, but it's well worth the visit!
Very friendly owner, good prices I was passing by and heard some good reggae playing from the store, entered and as a result found some true gems for my collection Strongly recommend this record store!
Amazing place. Everyone in Paris should be there. Check the schedule before you come-by. It is not always open.
Amazing experience at this store! I would definitely go on a future to take some original Marvin Gaye's records

4 Rue du Ponceau, 75002 Paris, France
Very cool store. Had a lot of stuff I was looking for. Owner was very nice and welcoming. The music playing in the store was great. An excellent recommendation if you are looking for records in Paris.
Scored some amazing records with the best service!
Owner was so welcoming and made me feel at home from the moment I walked in. Great vinyls, great prices. Go here
The owner zeroed in immediately, handed me an absurdly groovy ’70s library record, and dared me not to buy it. I tried to resist. He won. You don’t walk out of this place empty-handed—you crawl out, poorer but richer.
Very nice attention and great records, I big smile welcomes you.

14 Boulevard de la Chapelle, 75018
One of my favorite places in Paris for sure. The vibe is just beautiful. You can sit to listen the records and there are really good prices.
Awesome collection! Our favorite record store in Paris ❤️ Hidden gem on the 19th arr, but heaven for DJ's am sure. There's a cute coffee spot inside the Art Gallery inside, very cozy
Very cool record store and I'm sure they have a lot of fun there. Great selection of records.
Find the green metal gate, on the right there’s a black doorbell panel with white lettering. Press that, push the door they’ll unlock it. Walk towards the third court yard. It’s behind the white metal gate, where you first enter a gallery (and a small cafe). Top spot for new vinyl (and some second hand in -1 too) in electronic or electronica-related genres (ambient(-jazz), drone, techno, house, breakbeat,…). Multiple listening stations. Very decent prices. Friendly, laidback, easygoing staff. Well known (Music From Memory, WRWTFWW) and loads of more obscure labels. Take your time. Find your stuff.
100% of what’s hot in electronic music. friendly staff. amazing store. great in-house sessions, impressive gear in the cellar
