My favourite coffee place in Brussels right now! Amazing vibes, spacious enough but not crowded, great music, and fair prices (!!). No overcharges for plant-based milk, incredible coffee options and pastries, and there are plugs available if you want to get some work done. I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is, truly a rare find in an ocean of mainstream coffee shops that offer nothing but overpriced coffee and chaos. A true blessing!

The best record store in Brussels! I went to all the record stores nearby (15+ of them) and this was by far the best store to visit. The selection was incredible and at great prices! The genres were well organized and made finding what I wanted very easy, especially the new wave section. I will definitely be back!

2nd hand record store mostly specialising in vinyl and cds from the popular to the more obscure genres and everything in between. Don't let the small store front fool you: inside it runs quite deep and it's packed to the brim mostly with vinyl and cds. You can also sell your records and cds here. Unlike many 2nd hand store the collection is quite neatly organised, but due to the sheer size, you'd better reserve some time to browse attentively.

Highly recommended. Big range of choice from rare house, avant-garde electronic to contemporary jazz, progressive rock record's. Bought here repress one of the Mayblitz albums for 25€ only, which costs on the Discogs start from 50€

Popped in the shop as I was visiting Brussels because the shop front looked interesting (they had the soundtrack to Kiki's Delivery Service on display, among other things). Was impressed by the large and varied selection of stuff including some weirder genres—they've got CDs, vinyl, even cassettes and some other stuff. Chap inside was friendly and helped me out once I said what I was interested in getting. I think the price was fair, but I'm not a serious collector.

Great selection of African (especially Congolese) records, and decent stock of soul/funk and jazz. There's no listening station with headphones, but the owner is friendly and let me listen to about a dozen records on the shop's turntable with no complaints. Gave me recommendations as well.

Well curated vinyl selection majoring on reggae, funk/soul and rock. One of the best selection of 45s in Brussels (along with the sister shop in the centre of town and Jukebox Records on Blvd. Anspach). English + French speaking owner. No decks for the punters to listen to records on unfortunately, but well worth a visit.

One of the best places in Brussels to buy CDs and especially vinyl records. They have a wide variety and are up to date with all the new releases.

Caroline Music is a two floor new and 2nd hand vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-ray shop offering just about any music genre from the popular to the obscure. Besides regular or hard to find releases there's also a 'bootleg' collection. Prices range from reasonable to overpriced, especially for the rarer collector items.

Very big store that offers a lot of (both new and used) vinyls from all genres! Prices are slightly higher than in other stores, but nothing too expensive. Worth visiting, especially if you are into new vinyls

One of the best record stores I've been to ever. Massive selection of very well curated and organized underground music from techno, breakbeat, house, funk, and everything in between. There are 4 listening booths facing the street, with a chair and plenty of space for your records, and one at the back where near the experimental section Staff are very friendly and put on their selection in the store which is also a good way to discover some gems I went twice, both times on Saturday afternoon during a 2 week visit to Brussels. Spent about 4 hours in the store and really wish I had more time and luggage space 😂 Will definitely be back!

Very trendy record store. Records are mostly techno and house, but all genres are present. Cool artwork and interior design, 4 desks to listen to records (with street view) and helpful staff. You can also buy record players, attributes and other equipment and do repairs. I think you could even sell second hand stuff. Coffee and bar present as well as cool merchandise. Nice logo too.

Amazing record store. Although I might be biased, because I found a couple of gems. Staff is super chill, and they do good recommendations. Selection is varied, yet deep. Their categorization is ace; All the weird and wonderful descriptions to serve any curious search urge you might have. Both the new and second hand staff picks are recommended as well.

This place has highly amusing genre sections like Off Your Head in Ibiza and many more. The owner really knows his stuff and it's a gold mine of eclectic vinyl. Fun vibe and has a listening station to get acquainted with the plates which you rarely see nowadays. Big respect

Hidden gem of Brussels. The owner has played a big part of Belgian techno history. Beyond awesome with extensive knowledge of all genres, especially dance music! Vinyl collection full of selected gems that you can’t find anywhere else. My knowledge of specific genres was fairly limited so Geert kindly selected couple of 12” maxis to try. Ended up buying few maxi singles and albums. Pricing very fair with almost all records costing 10€ max. Highly recommending!

Geerd was the nicest record shop owner ever. Had a a serious knowledge not just of the records, but also rave and belgian history. Was so interesting and cool talking to him. His stories he was telling us about playing in omen back in the day and anecdotes about ricardo and sven väth were really awesome and you could hear his love and passion for the music. So happy we stumbled in this shop. Also very happy with the records we ended up buying. Proper bangers! Also, the records without a cover had these wonderful descriptions written on the sleeves that certainly helped while digging!

I’ve been traveling around Europe for almost two months, visiting many electronic music record stores in different countries, and this is definitely my top choice. The prices are really good! The owner is an amazing guy, and he lets you mix with the store’s records. So if someone has never mixed before, they can just go there and try it out, that’s awesome! I found some great stuff; the sections aren’t classified by genre or label like usual which helps you to find new and good stuff cause you don’t have a ‘exact’ expectation. Instead, the store has fun categories like “Electro House for Weirdos” and “Minimal Never Died, Ricardo Was Right!”.

Literally love this place. The seller is really freaking cool. Even though I don’t understand French I didn’t feel much problem with communication. They’ve got a lot of niche bm records and also other genres.

Very good old school record store in the Center of Brussels. Sells quite a lot of all dark music genres but offers a big selection of classic stuff too. The majority of the prices seems to be more than fair. If I visit Brussels again I will certainly visit it again.

I bought a used record for 10€, there were no indication that this was a damaged goods section. And yet I come home to find the record all scratched which makes listening to it virtually impossible. Very disappointed. The owner seems nice but quality checking your records is not an option. This never happened in Pele Mêle, les petits riens or other places where I bought second hand records for 10€ and less.

All records/genres are mixed so you have to dig a lot but you will find many treasures. Prices are ok and everything in great conditions. Highly recommended.

If you want to know what bad and impolite service is, go visit Kozmic Music in Brussels. Absolutely terrible.

good prices and the nicest service ever

I am reviewing the online shop, not the actual shop in Brussels! Ordered a CD on May 11th and still received no shipping confirmation or clear update weeks later. The website is misleading because it does not indicate whether items are actually in stock. Customer communication was poor, and after reading other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue. Disappointing experience. Edit: I changed the rating from 1 to 2 stars. I got an answer to my last mail, the CD was shipped the same day (coincidence?!). Still, the main problem remains the same: it is not apparent which items are in stock and which are not. just to be clear: i don't have a problem waiting 2-3 weeks for something I bought online if the delivery delay is fully disclosed. But if you need something quickly or spontaneously, I think it would be best to contact the shop owner before making a purchase.

Terrible experience. I made an online purchase and, by mistake, didn't select a shipping option. I tried every way to contact the seller to resolve the issue, but I never received a response, neither by email nor on social media. I also attempted to contact them by phone and, in addition to receiving no assistance, I was treated rudely and offensively. I even contacted the record label for support, but to no avail: they, too, couldn't reach the seller. Extremely bad experience, nonexistent customer service. Spent an hour on the website choosing 5 SACDs. Added finally a 6th one available everywhere, but it made sense since I anyway had to pay cross-border shipping fees. A week later the surprise: All 5 initially chosen SACDs were cancelled as unavailable (?!), yet they went ahead with sending the 6th one at the fixed shipping rate without any interaction. What a waste of time. What an inventory system. What behaviour.

Found this place accidentally, just walking through. Small and stylish store. Rare and unique vinyl records. We’ve asked about some Belgium electronic music and received two amassing records. Now they are my favourites in the collection. It was a pleasure to visit this place and have a great experience.

An Aladins cave of rare vinyl. All genres from pop to the avantgarde catered for. We'll worth a visit if you are a serious collector, but don't expect a bargain.

I was here on the 13th on June. Probably one of my favourite record stores i’ve ever been to. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable (I feel terrible for forgetting the guys name cause what a legend he was! Russel I think). They offered me free beverages and it was overall just great vibes ! I’m currently doing a trip around Europe to dig vinyl and so far this has really been my best experiences in a store to date. I think because Brussels as a place is slightly more off track from the usual digging route through europe it means there are some serious gems sitting around. I would go back to Brussels for this store alone❤️ Thanks again to the lovely people at Sono Ventura!

Well picked and sorted! A lot of genres. Mainly electronic oriented, but lot of more. Super nice service in the store. Music on display and in speakers were much appreciated. Equipped with 3 vinyl players with easy access and ready to use. Easy to spend a long time looking out the big store window.

Amazing record shop! Very wide selection of electronic music. Old second hand gems and loads of new stuff. 5€ zone in the basement is a lot of fun to dig through. The staff is very thoughtful and gives great advises to help you make your selection. Best in town!

What a gem! The shop is tucked away like a diamond in the rough. I don't know much about music and tend to listen to mostly mainstream stuff, but it's clear that for people who are really into their music, this place would be heaven. They have EVERYthing! The owner is super friendly and made me feel welcome, and he knows so much about so many different genres it's crazy. The best part for me is the art and posters he exhibits for local artists (I'm more of a visual arts girl...).

What a pleasure it is to buy music in a real, physical shop! It is absolutely worth making the trip to this little jewel in Ixelles. I love Turtle Records, every visit, I'm greeted with a warm smile, a great conversation, and wonderful music playing in the background. There's a genuine love for music here that you can feel the moment you walk in. Highly recommended to anyone who still believes in the magic of flipping through records!

Based on my personal experience, this was one of the least enjoyable record shop visits I’ve had. During my visit, I could not use a listening station, and I was also told I could not use my phone to check albums or look up information about records. I also did not receive much help or guidance from the staff. For me, that makes it difficult to browse properly, especially if you are looking for specific pressings, genres, or want to make an informed purchase. If you are happy to buy records without checking or listening first, it may still work for you. Personally, I would not return.

Nice shop with interesting records and the server was happy to play stuff but he pounced on my son when he got his phone out to check some info on a particular pressing. Easy enough to step outside and check of course but never experienced this before so a bit surprised.

The only record shop in town where there is a no-phone policy. I have bought records here when I know certainly it is the record I am after. Even those records seemed to be on high end of the pricing, but rare enough for me to buy it. Now that I have visited more and more records shops in town, I am no longer going back there. The no phone policy at first seemed great as I try to avoid using my phone too often, but there is something fishy and secretive about it. My recommendation, stay away and visit other shops instead.

Great selection of vinyl. Guy behind the counter was very friendly. Staff at their other location explained the no phones rule clearly before we visited here - egregious use of discogs and streaming sites are probably to blame. I have experienced far, far worse customer service in other record shops.

Very good store for vinyl LPs, you can find a lot of good LPs here and also very good rare stuff, for the genre you are looking for. I would like to add a photo, but the owner has a condition not to use a mobile phone in the store......that's a shame
