My favourite coffee place in Brussels right now! Amazing vibes, spacious enough but not crowded, great music, and fair prices (!!). No overcharges for plant-based milk, incredible coffee options and pastries, and there are plugs available if you want to get some work done. I can’t stress enough how amazing this place is, truly a rare find in an ocean of mainstream coffee shops that offer nothing but overpriced coffee and chaos. A true blessing!

Chris T ★★★★★ 6 months ago

Absolute fire coffee and great service by Quentin. Aesthetics, taste and great musice. 10/10

Guillaume Keppenne ★★★★★ a year ago

Archive music has been my refuge for several weeks now. You won't find a lovelier staff in the whole Brussels. With a tasty and varied selection of coffees, they offer you a chance to listen to the vinyls that will make your heart skip a beat and your day soft and sweet. ☕❤️

Lovely new coffee/ vinyl place. Great coffee and no surcharge for plantbased milk!

The best record store in Brussels! I went to all the record stores nearby (15+ of them) and this was by far the best store to visit. The selection was incredible and at great prices! The genres were well organized and made finding what I wanted very easy, especially the new wave section. I will definitely be back!

John Solitude ★★★★ 4 years ago

2nd hand record store mostly specialising in vinyl and cds from the popular to the more obscure genres and everything in between. Don't let the small store front fool you: inside it runs quite deep and it's packed to the brim mostly with vinyl and cds. You can also sell your records and cds here. Unlike many 2nd hand store the collection is quite neatly organised, but due to the sheer size, you'd better reserve some time to browse attentively.

Highly recommended. Big range of choice from rare house, avant-garde electronic to contemporary jazz, progressive rock record's. Bought here repress one of the Mayblitz albums for 25€ only, which costs on the Discogs start from 50€

Always worth visiting. Prices and grading are usually acceptable. He prefers cash, but still accepts cards (except Amex). Was very happy with the bunch of Wishbone Ash LPs I bought before Christmas.

OMG!!! This store has got EXACTLY what it takes. When you go in, you can actually feel the passion for vinyls. The people that work there are very relaxed and friendly. Enjoy your time there!

Skart 2000 ★★★★★ 7 months ago

They have a lot of variety for good prices, I bought Minecraft Alpha and Beta as well as some Eminem, I'll go back one day to take a deeper look

John Solitude ★★★★ 4 years ago

Caroline Music is a two floor new and 2nd hand vinyl, CD, DVD and Blu-ray shop offering just about any music genre from the popular to the obscure. Besides regular or hard to find releases there's also a 'bootleg' collection. Prices range from reasonable to overpriced, especially for the rarer collector items.

Ana Danilovic ★★★★ 3 years ago

Very big store that offers a lot of (both new and used) vinyls from all genres! Prices are slightly higher than in other stores, but nothing too expensive. Worth visiting, especially if you are into new vinyls

A marvelous record store with excellent curation and a great selection of second-hand vinyl. The listening stations — equipped with full Technics MK2 turntables — make the experience even better. The space is very comfortable, and the staff are kind, knowledgeable, and engaging. Highly recommended.”

Walked in a couple of days ago. There was a great record playing in the store and I asked for it. The guy working there was glad to help and brought me a new copy from downstairs. I asked to park it till I was done browsing around for any other record. In the end he gave me the record along with one more I bought with the only difference, it was the pre-opened one with several scratches on it. Poor treatment from a store with rather great potential. P.s. glad to adjust my review if you send me a brand new copy of the record.

Nichanan Kesonpat ★★★★★ a year ago

One of the best record stores I've been to ever. Massive selection of very well curated and organized underground music from techno, breakbeat, house, funk, and everything in between. There are 4 listening booths facing the street, with a chair and plenty of space for your records, and one at the back where near the experimental section Staff are very friendly and put on their selection in the store which is also a good way to discover some gems I went twice, both times on Saturday afternoon during a 2 week visit to Brussels. Spent about 4 hours in the store and really wish I had more time and luggage space 😂 Will definitely be back!

Guido Bouman ★★★★★ 2 years ago

Amazing record store. Although I might be biased, because I found a couple of gems. Staff is super chill, and they do good recommendations. Selection is varied, yet deep. Their categorization is ace; All the weird and wonderful descriptions to serve any curious search urge you might have. Both the new and second hand staff picks are recommended as well.

Gill Balcaen ★★★★★ 4 years ago

Very trendy record store. Records are mostly techno and house, but all genres are present. Cool artwork and interior design, 4 desks to listen to records (with street view) and helpful staff. You can also buy record players, attributes and other equipment and do repairs. I think you could even sell second hand stuff. Coffee and bar present as well as cool merchandise. Nice logo too.

Love your shop! Thanks for recommending some random cool bits of dub techno the other day. Nice little chin wag to. This place has highly amusing genre sections like Off Your Head in Ibiza and many more. The owner really knows his stuff and it's a gold mine of eclectic vinyl. Fun vibe and has a listening station to get acquainted with the plates which you rarely see nowadays. Big respect

Geerd was the nicest record shop owner ever. Had a a serious knowledge not just of the records, but also rave and belgian history. Was so interesting and cool talking to him. His stories he was telling us about playing in omen back in the day and anecdotes about ricardo and sven väth were really awesome and you could hear his love and passion for the music. So happy we stumbled in this shop. Also very happy with the records we ended up buying. Proper bangers! Also, the records without a cover had these wonderful descriptions written on the sleeves that certainly helped while digging!

I’ve been traveling around Europe for almost two months, visiting many electronic music record stores in different countries, and this is definitely my top choice. The prices are really good! The owner is an amazing guy, and he lets you mix with the store’s records. So if someone has never mixed before, they can just go there and try it out, that’s awesome! I found some great stuff; the sections aren’t classified by genre or label like usual which helps you to find new and good stuff cause you don’t have a ‘exact’ expectation. Instead, the store has fun categories like “Electro House for Weirdos” and “Minimal Never Died, Ricardo Was Right!”.

Tahsha LePage Guevara ★★★★★ 3 years ago

The place to dig for all sorts of electronic music. The categories are cleverly labeled - it's not just by genre- I loved that. It's the first record shop I've been to that doesn't have a return bin - so after loading up and hitting the listening station, I felt like a jerk for handing the discards back. The guy working was totally rad & was excited to share music/talk music etc. I've been waiting to make it to Brussels and glad I did. It was a Monday too so that was a bonus they were open! Super close to Centraal. A 5 minute walk maybe.

I bought a used record for 10€, there were no indication that this was a damaged goods section. And yet I come home to find the record all scratched which makes listening to it virtually impossible. Very disappointed. The owner seems nice but quality checking your records is not an option. This never happened in Pele Mêle, les petits riens or other places where I bought second hand records for 10€ and less.

Spent an hour on the website choosing 5 SACDs. Added finally a 6th one available everywhere, but it made sense since I anyway had to pay cross-border shipping fees. A week later the surprise: All 5 initially chosen SACDs were cancelled as unavailable (?!), yet they went ahead with sending the 6th one at the fixed shipping rate without any interaction. What a waste of time. What an inventory system. What behaviour.

Melopée Residential Care Center exudes warmth and security from the moment you step inside. It's not just the building and surroundings that are inviting, but above all, the people who make the difference. The staff truly take the time for the residents, with a smile and genuine attention. You sense that they're not just providing care here, but working hard every day to create a warm home where residents feel seen and valued. The warmth, the human connection, and the welcoming atmosphere make Melopée a place where residents don't just live, but truly feel at home. A wonderful example of how elderly care should be!

I was here on the 13th on June. Probably one of my favourite record stores i’ve ever been to. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable (I feel terrible for forgetting the guys name cause what a legend he was! Russel I think). They offered me free beverages and it was overall just great vibes ! I’m currently doing a trip around Europe to dig vinyl and so far this has really been my best experiences in a store to date. I think because Brussels as a place is slightly more off track from the usual digging route through europe it means there are some serious gems sitting around. I would go back to Brussels for this store alone❤️ Thanks again to the lovely people at Sono Ventura!

Excellent selection and staff was very helpful. I gave them a list of releases I was looking for and they pulled everything for me plus offered great suggestions once they understood what specific genres I was after. Got some rare gems plus a nice stack of ukg, electro and abstract bass. This store rocks!

Well picked and sorted! A lot of genres. Mainly electronic oriented, but lot of more. Super nice service in the store. Music on display and in speakers were much appreciated. Equipped with 3 vinyl players with easy access and ready to use. Easy to spend a long time looking out the big store window.

The Collector is mostly a 2nd hand record store, specialising in soundtrack vinyls. They have a smaller collection of DVDs, CDs and collectable figures as well. The 2nd hand DVDs are quite pricey. For Brussels 2nd hand record stores it's hard to beat the great Pële Mêle (in near walking distance) which offers more choice, often for better prices.

I walked in spontaneously to kill some time in Brussels, but quickly found the atmosphere strange and overly controlling. The owner enforces a strict no-phone policy, which means you can’t look up any music or research what you’re buying. There’s no listening station, and only short fragments are played behind the counter, an unnatural way to discover music. A record store should be a place for knowledge sharing, community, and musical education. Here, everything felt like gatekeeping instead. Incorrect genre placements (like Yanti Bersaudara in the India bin) and claims of “rare” records that clearly aren’t only added to the odd experience. I later read that the store also sells bootlegs without informing the buyer, the ultimate red flag. You are clearly not there for the music, but for profit. In short: this shop goes against the very essence of vinyl digging. Avoid at all costs!!

Ivo Marques 6 months ago

Honestly, I was browsing and spent quite some time in the store. No phone policy at first seemed like a refreshing thing, although it can be quite dangerous when a vendor claims to sell a specific pressing. Anyway, if the phone isn't allowed in the store, it's still allowed on the street. While smoking my cigarette, I decided to visit the Google reviews page, which rapidly made me notice that quite possibly most of the LP's I was looking at were not actually official pressings, although priced at the same value, or even higher. I could've visited discogs, but something about the collection seemed off. I like bootlegs, but I also like to buy them as bootlegs. After coming back in, I quickly noticed the signs on the cover. Thank you Google reviews for saving my money!

Jen 8 months ago

You know that feeling when you’re in a record shop — just browsing, relaxing, enjoying the hunt? That’s what we were hoping for on our first visit to Brussels, but this place had the complete opposite vibe. I’ve visited record stores all over the world, and this was by far the most stressful one. They have a strict “no phone” rule, which already felt excessive. There were no clear signs where we were browsing, so when I pulled out my phone for literally a second to save an artist’s name (just because I liked the album cover), a staff member immediately swooped in to call me out. They said it was to “encourage real conversations”, but it came across more like customer shaming. The whole experience killed the mood. A record shop should feel welcoming and laid-back, not like you’re being policed. Ironically, I’m sure pulling out your phone to pay at the counter wouldn’t be a problem.

Ugur Seker 6 months ago

I saw a signing on front cover of an LP and asked if they know whom signed it? They told me that they dont know and photos of the shop are not permitted. I respected it but asked them to check the owner of the signing if its possible, but responded with silly and foolish jokes. Such a rude owner. These people should face starving!

Rick Roels ★★ 8 months ago

The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with an eager “Can we help you find something specific?” - polite, though a bit odd for a store that’s supposed to celebrate the joy of crate-digging. Browsing the shelves, I was pleasantly surprised: a wide range spanning eras and genres, with something for every kind of collector, seasoned or new. Yes, quite a few bootlegs, but still, I was excited… until things went downhill. While checking my vinyl wishlist on my phone, the vendor appeared almost instantly to enforce their strict no phone policy. The explanation? To foster “connection and conversation.” Honestly, it felt more like an attempt to prevent price comparisons, which I can somewhat understand from an indie shop. Still, giving them the benefit of the doubt, and because I value supporting local, I bought a record I remembered from my list. It was labeled as a UK pressing exclusive and priced higher than I’d usually spend. But once home, my enthusiasm turned into disappointment. Adding it to my Discogs library, I discovered it was priced at nearly three times the online market value. Ironically, not being able to check my wishlist may have saved me from overspending even more. Lesson learned: I’ll keep supporting local, but I won’t ignore my gut again. For the record (pun intended): 1 star for service, 3 stars for the collection - averaging out to 2 stars overall. Plenty of other shops, like Caroline Records, are far more deserving of your time and money.
